Abstract

Revolutionary changes in the development of industrial enterprises set a new economic and social order in societies by generating new fields of business, rearranging the labour market and drawing a completely different way in which organizations carry out their business. These changes must be consistently prepared by the educational institutions, and it is particularly important how the persons who will lead the organizations of the future will be trained. The purpose of the current development is to outline what structural changes should be implemented in the overall education of the persons who will implement the changes and work in a completely changed environment – the managers. For this aim, the main characteristics of the Industry 5.0 concept are analyzed, the skills key to the success of managers are identified and the needs for training and development are identified.
