Abstract
The impeller of an aero-engine centrifugal compressor is subjected to multiple loads, including aerodynamic loads, thermal loads, and centrifugal loads, which affect the stress of the impeller. To accurately evaluate the influence of each load, the fluid-structure coupling method is used to establish the calculation model of the centrifugal compressor impeller. By carrying out the calculation, the Aerodynamic load and thermal load under design conditions can be obtained. Afterward, the stress analysis of the centrifugal compressor impeller is carried out by applying the various loads calculated before. Comparing the effects of these three loads on the stress state of the impeller, the result shows that the centrifugal load plays a dominant role in the stress state of that, followed by the thermal load and then the aerodynamic load.
