Abstract
In the present paper the modern sights on the problem of autonomic nervous system’s dysfunction in clinical practice and, particularly, on the peculiarities of natural history and treatment of neurocirculatory distonia have been analyzed. Therapeutic use of drugs – psychoemotional correctors and central adaptogens in this form of pathology has been grounded. A main attention paid to drug Adaptol as adaptogen with central mechanisms of action with properties of anxiolytics and nootropics. Mechanisms of action and clinico-pharmacological effects of Adaptol as harmonizator of central regulation of autonomic functions in CNS, and expediency of its use in the autonomic nervous system dysfunction with the point of view of its efficacy and safety have been looked.
