Abstract
Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide. Prevention of these diseases is one of the most important tasks of modern medicine. First of all, it is necessary to influence modifying risk factors, namely: tobacco use, poor nutrition, low physical activity, excessive alcohol consumption, uncontrolled high blood pressure and hyperlipidemia. One of the important additional risk factors is stress, which causes a number of changes in the heart and kidneys, provoking the development and progression of cardiovascular diseases. Timely impact on the psychological state of a patient who is under the influence of chronic stress is the key to effectively reducing the risk of cardiovascular disasters. For this purpose, it is possible to recommend nootropic drugs that contribute to the reduction of clinical manifestations of asthenic syndrome and chronic fatigue syndrome caused by chronic stress.
