Abstract

Nanotechnology has many uses and advantages, and it's being used more and more. In agricultural research, it can help with detecting pollutants, fighting plant diseases, delivering pesticides and fertilizers more precisely, transporting genetic material, protecting soil, and making soil stick together better. Since we're facing issues like lower crop productivity, lack of nutrients, and climate change, nanotechnology offers interesting ways to improve farming. It can help manage plant diseases better, make sure plants get the right nutrients, help them grow well, and release pesticides and nutrients in a controlled way.For plants to grow, they require iron, which is essential to chlorophyll synthesis and other enzymatic and metabolic activities. In the current investigation, casein-coated magnetic carriers were produced to provide nutrients to plants and crops. Iron oxide-loaded casein Nano-carriers with a core–shell nanostructure were found to have agricultural benefits. The composition, shape, and structure of magnetic nanoparticles were identified using FTIR, SEM, Raman, XPS, Zeta potential and PXRD. The prepared particles can be used for regulated and targeted nutrition administration. Iron oxide loaded casein nanoparticles will become increasingly important in creating matrices for the regulated release of bioactive substances.
