Abstract

In this work, we present a successful application of the matrix interpolation-based parametric model order reduction method for generating stable reduced-order models of a piezoelectric energy harvester device. In order to ensure the stability of these geometrically parameterized reduced order models, we have combined the above method with four stabilization approaches: MOR after Schur, MOR after implicit Schur, Schur after MOR, and multiphysics structure-preserving MOR. We apply the combined approaches directly to large-scale multi-physical finite element models enabling so, an efficient design optimization based on accurate numerical models.
