Abstract
AbstractSpontaneous diploidization of the maternal chromosome set (SDM) in Acipenser ruthenus was described. The gynogenetic progeny of sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus) were produced by the egg fertilization of UV-ir-radiated sperm of bester (Huso huso x A. ruthenus). The microsatellite DNA analysis and chromosome counting was applied for identification of gynogenetic progeny of sterlet.
