Abstract

In the context of the challenges of our time, the formation of spiritual and moral principles, the formation of basic national values and guidelines, the foundations of multiculturalism and tolerance among schoolchildren are of particular relevance for general education, which, in turn, are the main directions of the concept of spiritual and moral development of the younger generation of Russians. Updating these trends, the authors consider them as didactic tasks of school education and, as a result, general music education. The article offers the description of the components of the selected didactic tasks, as well as the means and educational elements of the content of teaching music, contributing to their achievement.
