Abstract
The linear flux-switching permanent magnet (LFSPM) motor with segmented secondary has the advantages of high efficiency, high power density and low cost, which is suitable for rail transit and other long-distance driving system. However, the control strategy of this new motor has not been investigated. Therefore, this paper investigates the speed closed-loop control system of the motor based on flux-oriented control. The simulation and experiment results verify the effectiveness of the control strategy.
