Abstract
The complexity of social life and the radical social changes experienced have led to the emergence of many social problems. Societies have undergone various changes over time and therefore their structures and functions have changed. Along with these changes, social problems have also changed in terms of type and quality. It can be stated that the only thing that has not changed in this regard is sociology's interest in social problems. One of the important research areas of today's sociologists is social problems. In this study, firstly, it was tried to clarify what the social problem is, and then from the basic concepts of social problems; The concepts of deviant behavior, social disintegration, and institutional crises are mentioned. In order to understand the subject in all its aspects, it has been examined how functionalist, confrontational and interactionist approaches, which are among the basic approaches to social problems, deal with social problems. In addition, this study has been completed by examining the issues that should be considered in the analysis of social problems.
