Abstract

This is a quantitative study using a questionnaire technicue. The subject is 30 business actors of Biapong Coklat 17 in Gorontalo City, taken by using a purposive sampling technique with a 5% significance level. The data analysis technique uses the prerequisite analysis test and is followed by a simple regression test. The finding shows that there is a positive and significant ifluence between social media variable on business development, with the Rcount (0.701) is greater than the Rsquare (0.605). so the correlation is positive. Furthemore, the value of Tcount (4.586) is greater than the value of Ttable (2.048), so it can be concluded that there is an influence of using social media on business development
