Abstract
Abstract We are presenting the notes on different issues concerning directly or indirectly FT ICR. They were chosen eclectically but all are connected to the Moscow FT ICR group activity in the field during more than 30 years. They are covering FT ICR history in Russia and important contributions of the group to the development of the FT ICR technique culminated by discovery of the dynamic harmonization principle on the bases of supercomputer simulations of ion cloud dynamics in different types of FT ICR cells and implementation of the principal in the cell, demonstrated extreme resolving power and mass accuracy. Limitations and potentials of FT ICR mass spectrometry are discussed.
