Abstract

The importance of soft skills in recruiting and selecting personnel has been increasing in recent times. Despite this, they are generally not given due consideration when making decisions in this area. Therefore, the objectiveof this research focuses on analyzing the recruitment process of human resources in the Supreme Electoral Tribunal. The present study corresponds to a descriptive-exploratory research, with a mixed approach (quantitative-qualitative). The results obtained reveal a marked preference in the T.S.E.'s human resource selection processes, which focus excessively on the hard skills of the personnel. This lack of balance has a significant impact on the overall performance of T.S.E staff.
