The conducted research makes it possible to improve the theoretical foundations of the socio-economic development of regions, to analyze the directions of socio-economic development in order to increase the standard of living of the population, the volume and quality of public services and the stability of the regions, as well as to propose measures to increase the competitiveness of the regions.
