Abstract

This article reveals the relevance of the study of the family issue, as well as the essence of the socio-psychological approach to its understanding. It analyzes the history, approaches to the definition, and classification of external and internal threats to family sustainability and security. These include several dozen economic, social, psychological, and other factors, including destructive conflicts, which together make up an interconnected system complex (profiling). The article also examines the practice of overcoming these threats in order to ensure the stability and security of the family. These circumstances allow speaking about the social psychology of the family as an independent branch that is under development.
