Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the content of the socio-economic formation. The main functional meaning of the socio-economic formation as a special way of life of individuals is to provide and expanded reproduction of their comprehensive coexistence, the structure of the formation is characterized by its functional purpose, on the one hand, as well as specific human needs, needs, abilities and material living conditions, on the other. The production of society and social relations is the initial premise of all production. Material, spiritual, social production, the production of a social person form four separate spheres of aggregate social production, which as a whole create a single integrated production sphere.
