espanolEl objetivo del trabajo es presentar, un avance de los resultados mas relevantes de un estudio realizado gracias a la concesion de una Ayuda para la Investigacion por el Centro de Estudios Mudejares en el ano 2007. Se trata de una aproximacion a las unidades de organizacion del espacio y asentamiento islamicos en La Mancha, y su transformacion bajo dominio cristiano. Para lograrlo se ha analizado un caso concreto: el distrito de Moratalaz, situado en el sector oriental del Campo de Calatrava (Ciudad Real). El analisis se basa en los registros documentales que de epoca ya cristiana se conservan sobre el mismo. EnglishThe aim of this paper is to present the results obtained in the frame of a research study carried out with the support of the Centro de Estudios Mudejares in 2007. It is an analysis of how the land ans settlement in the region of La Mancha was organised in islamic time and how it was transformed under Christian rule. In order to do so, a case study has been selected: the district of Moratalaz, situated in the Eastern part of the so-called Campo de Calatrava (province of Ciudad Real). The analysis is based on surviving written records dating from the time of Castilian domination.
