Abstract
In this interview, Wang Xiaoming, an important participant in crucial critical debates since the 1990s, discusses his views on humanism, contemporary critical practice, social activism, the Chinese revolutionary tradition, the role of intellectuals in advocacy for social change, urbanization and its discontents, and the work of Chinese cultural studies.
