Abstract

In the present study, A novel electrochemical sensor based on CPE-NP-M for determination of heavy metals was proposed. The electrode constructed in this work was studied in 0.3 M NaCl solution. The performance of the NP-Al2O3 for determination of Pb (II) and Hg (II) was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV), square wave voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in 0.3 mol/L NaCl.Under optimized experimental parameter, the developed NP-Al2O3/CPE sensor has a lowest detection limit 0.756 and 0.5 nM for Pb (II) and Hg (II) respectively. The proposed working electrode was applied with successfully for the determination of Pb (II) and Hg (II) in tap water, and then we obtained good results.
