Abstract

The present work is focused on analyzing the influence of nano material aluminium oxide on the performance of generator absorber heat exchange ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system. Matlab code has been used to simulate the performance of the combined cycle. The effect of refrigeration, absorber and condenser temperatures on the combined cycle performance have been studied. The results of the analysis indicate that the performance of the combined cycle is higher by 15 to 20% when Al2O3 nano particles were added when compared to the same cycle without the addition of nano particles.
