Abstract
—In the Dec 15 issue ofThe Journal, under the title "Screening Tests for Urinary Uroporphyrin," the third sentence of the paragraph no. 5 on page 1089 should read as follows: "The acetone disappears into the ether phase leaving the uroporphyrin dissolved in about 5 ml of an aqueous solution virtually free from interfering substances, and concentrated 3 to 4 times from the original urine."
