Abstract

Access to Structural Funds of the European Union for the realisation of infrastructural projects having a value in excess of 50 M€ requires advance preparation of economic and financial analyses including sensitivity and risk analyses for the probabilistic evaluation of uncertainties linked to the investment financing. This work illustrates the techniques and methods necessary in order to carry out such analyses, with reference to the case study of the Catania underground railway line.
