Abstract
ABSTRACT This article seeks to galvanize experiential-humanistic marriage and family counselors toward the advancement of Symbolic-Experiential Family Therapy (SEFT). Despite being a fundamental and influential experiential-humanistic family theory, SEFT receives little scholarly attention. Accordingly, this article serves as a theoretical review and call to action for the future research, training, and praxis of SEFT.
