Abstract

Occupational health and safety seeks to integrate an adequate service for the surveillance of workers' health. The objective of the study is to evaluate occupational health and safety management for the reduction of occupational risks, whose methodology was based on identifying the regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (GSSO) through the bibliographic review and later comparing these regulations with the internal regulations in force in the food distribution company APRONAM S.A., thus the current situation was also determined through an interview applied to management and a questionnaire applied to the employees of the company, relevant information for the development of the PGV matrix Regarding the most relevant results, they were focused on the presence of risk factors with moderate and important levels that interfere with the physical, ergonomic, and psychosocial state of the collaborators, it is concluded that the presence of risks in the case study is They are mainly associated with exposure to changes in temperature, noise, and lighting, likewise the presence of reduced spaces, repetitive movements, and work under pressure, are some of the identified elements that affect the organization and collaborators.
