Abstract

In this article, we aimed to highlight the particularities of the development of the relational sphere of high school students as a cognitive psychic process at different stages of ontogenesis. Difficulties in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships reduce the quality and frequency of learning experiences and contribute to the emergence of the need for psychological security in the educational environment. As a way of optimal functioning on this dimension, psychological security in educational institutions can be ensured by training social skills of effective communication/relationships, respectful attitudes, appreciation of personal qualities, understanding of the psychosocial nature of interpersonal relationships, etc.
