Abstract

The article updates and defines directions for solving the problem of training mid-level specialists in the context of industries and services digitalization. Taking into account various sources of information, the current state of the Russian system of secondary vocational education, scenarios for the labor markets development are considered. Based on the review of domestic and foreign practices for identifying promising professions, a number of principles have been proposed that have conceptual significance for building an effective system for training mid-level specialists for high-tech industries and services.
