Abstract

Abstract This brief note seeks to cast light on the sources that Arius used in his writings. The first part focuses on Scripture and the second part on philosophical texts. Two passages will be analysed, the first part of the creedal letter to bishop Alexander of Alexandria, and one section of the hymnic Thalia.
