Abstract

The article describes the activities carried out in the scientific and cultural sphere in Kyrgyzstan after the establishment of Soviet power. As a result of the division of Central Asia into separate states in 1924, their intensive research began, in particular, the study of the history, ethnography, cultural life, language and folklore of the Kyrgyz people, as well as the natural resources of the region. Museums and archives have been opened, and extensive materials have been collected on the basis of which many works have been written, not only in history and other related social sciences but also in medicine, economics, agriculture, art and culture. With the establishment of the Turkestan Committee, expeditions to the territory of the country were organized. This was the start of a systematic study of the history of the Kyrgyz people and Kyrgyzstan. Museums and archival institutions were opened, extensive materials were collected, on the basis of which many works related not only to history and other related social sciences, but also to medicine, economics, agriculture, art and culture were written.
