Abstract
E.D. Aipin is one of leading writers of the Khanty people. The main theme is people, nature, and home in his work . Ima-ge of Motherland is present in many works of the author. The article deals with the image of Soviet Russia. Image is analyzed by the following principle: – the memories of the older generation of Royal Russia, assessment of the Soviet power the older generation, – the process of establishment of Soviet power – the life of the people after the establishment of Soviet power, the consequences of reforms and innovations. Conversions of the Soviet authorities have left unforgettable mark in the memory of the people, changing the usual course of life.
