Abstract
Research was conducted in Texas to determine whether effective control of the peach tree borer (Sanninoidea exitiosa (Say)) could be obtained using a single spray application to peach tree trunks in the fall. The most effective single treatments consistently provided 72% to 78% control. Apparently a large number of larvae were killed after they became established in the trees. Control was improved with two-application schedules which combined treatments applied in June or July and September.
