Abstract
The mechanism of the exclusive ( gamma ,p) reaction at intermediate energies is discussed and some phenomenological calculations of the cross section for this reaction are presented. It is shown that the scaling of the cross section with momentum mismatch is consistent with a mechanism that includes both one-nucleon and two-nucleon processes.
