Abstract
Abstract On the basis of a study of the mineral and microfaunal composition of Cretaceous sediments of the Nalzen basin, the Pech de Foix fold, and the Dreuilhe brachyanticline, a series of contiguous structures in the north Pyrenean marginal platform region in Ariege, France, the cyclic formation of terrigenous and reef deposits is discussed.
