Abstract
The analysis of literature indicates the possibility of formation of deposits as a result of migration of hydrocarbons (HC) down the section. Presented materials describing the formation of deposits of various oil and gas provinces by overlying formations because of source zones with high formation pressures that impede migration up. The paper published the results of comprehensive studies of Devonian terrigenous complex oil and gas (COG) in the south of the Perm region. In tectonically studied area is located in the north of the Bashkir arch and the surrounding areas, where the Devonian terrigenous rocks open and developed more than 30 oil fields. The authors have studied the lithology, stratigraphy, geochemical, petrophysical data and GIS materials. This analysis resulted in the geological history of the territory, identified the specific features of the formation of Devonian terrigenous NGK that significantly affect the petroleum potential, such as sedimentation, characterized by shallow coastal conditions, frequent prevalence of oxidizing conditions during diagenesis. As a result of qualitative and quantitative evaluation of hydrocarbon generation of this complex revealed the absence of source formations and low emigration potential which could not provide an open and developed oil deposits. Conducting genetic correlations of organic matter and rocks of Devonian terrigenous oils and up- and downstream complexes biomarker (metalloporphyrins, pristane/phytane) indicators and carbon isotopic composition of oils revealed a genetic link oils Devonian terrigenous NGK southern districts of the Perm Region and the Upper Devonian - Tournaisian oils and NGK lack of communication with the Riphean-Vendian oils NGK perspective. This result is confirmed by statistical methods, including linear discriminant analysis of the data. The data presented for the first time describe the possibility of formation of oil deposits Devonian terrigenous complex in the south of the Perm edge due to the migration of hydrocarbons down the section.
