Abstract
The article shows the results of a study carried out between 2013 and 2015 with 56 economic organizations that implement an associative enterprise of self-managed work in the commune of Huechuraba, Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Chile. At the conceptual level, the category of social technology is used to understand the relationships between these organizations, for which this article describes five actual communities that show the sociotechnical integration of their social technology, on the basis of which one can understand the creation of a labor union that represents them before the local government. The conclusion is that the category of social technology helps to assess the variables that are present in the collective actions that build the urban popular economy, and that their uses may be relevant factors in designing public policies that seek to foster the associative and cooperative economy. Summary
Presentamos la forma conceptual con la cual tratamos a los protagonistas de nuestro estudio. (i) El proceso de tecnología social cuenta con un saber hacer que está organizado por las combinaciones de las informaciones sobre los usos reales y potenciales de lo que las personas tiene a mano. Ese estado del mundo de la vida que hemos llamado la comunidad efectiva de la tecnología social no clausura las deliberaciones que las personas, familias y organizaciones puedan hacer sobre los sentidos atribuidos a los artefactos, personas u organizaciones. En nuestro estudio aprendimos que esos cargos aparecían cuando hubo varios sistemas de interacciones enriquecidos que fomentaban cúmulos de informaciones que constituían posiciones en torno a: el experto en el saber usar la información técnica instrumental y el especializado en el saber representar a los integrantes del emprendimiento asociativo de trabajo autogestionado
