Abstract

The results of experiments aimed at conducting X-ray studies of powders obtained by electrodispersing titanium alloy OT4 metal waste in alcohol are presented. It is noted that the particles of the electroerosion powder consist of titanium and aluminum, which form phases of pure titanium α-Ti, titanium oxide TiO and intermetallic Ti3Al. The conducted studies have shown that by the method of electroerosive dispersion of metal waste of the OT4 alloy, it is possible to obtain spherical titanium powders for additive machines of the required fractional composition from secondary raw materials in small batches with minimal energy consumption and minimal damage to the environment.
