Abstract

AbstractThis paper studies residual evaluation of fault detection in discrete‐time systems considering unknown‐but‐bounded disturbance. By applying Lyapunov stability principle and zonotopic technique, respectively, two dynamic threshold estimation methods are proposed to detect fault of discrete‐time systems. The proposed methods are extended to systems with time‐delay to improve the applicability in practical systems. The effectiveness and comparison of the proposed methods are illustrated by numerical examples.
