Abstract
Abstract This research is a descriptive work which investigates the role expectations of single male students between the ages of 18-25, being studied at the university. The research is held on 100 students at the department of pre-school teacher education in Agri Ibrahim Cecen University by random sample technique. As data collection tool, “Scale of Role Expectations in Marriage” which is developed by A. Ryabov, E. Kurbangaleeva (2003) and adapted to Turkish and consists of 44 questions. In the assessment of data, a statistic program, SPSS 17.0, is used, dispersion of percentage and frequency of the data is taken and Chi-squared test is applied to the data.
