Abstract

Aiming at the safety problem of vehicle lane change in highway maintenance operation area, a survey plan for vehicle lane change traffic data based on the combination of drone and video materials was developed. The vehicle trajectory was collected to analyze the maintenance work of highways in different lanes and vehicle lane change characteristics in the zone. The research shows that when the number of lanes increases, the lane change distance of the forced lane change on the closed lane increases, and the distance between the starting point and the working area increases. The closer to the closed lane, the higher the lane change probability of the vehicle, and the vehicle trajectory is concentrated. The probability of free lane change in the pass lane, the distance between the start point of the lane change and the work area and the lane change distance increases with the increase of number of lanes.
