Abstract

Today we live in a technological society. Information systems (IS) are embedded in the core of almost every business function in modern organizations. Higher education institutions are at the center of today's economic, social and cultural changes. It is in these institutions that knowledge is accumulated and transmitted. To be able to adapt to changes, universities are in the process of developing appropriate information technology to ensure sustainable development. Unfortunately, there is not enough research on the provision of information technology technologies, especially for higher education institutions. Article reviews studies that are about the effectiveness of higher education information systems and draw several conclusions based on the collected data.
