Abstract Some 800 delegates are expected to attend the Forty-sixth Annual Convention to be held in Atlantic City, N.J., June 21-26. Sessions will be held in the Atlantic City High School. Albany and Atlantic Avenues. The opening mass meeting on Tuesday evening, June 21, will be a Walter White Memorial meeting with the President of the New Jersey State Conference, presiding, and with remarks by the President of the Association, Arthur B. Spingarn; the Executive Secretary, Roy Wilkins; Vice President Miss L. Pearl Mitchell, and Channing H. Tobias, Chairman of the Board of Directors. There will be a dramatic presentation on Wednesday evening at 8 P.M. The mass meeting that night will be addressed by Secretary-Treasurer of the A.EL. William Schitzler, and Special Counsel Thurgood Marshall. On Thursday evening delegates from some forty states will submit their semi-annual reports on funds raised to accelerate the campaign for complete emancipation by 1963, at the Freedom Fund Dinner. The Honorable Robert B. Mayner, Governor of New Jersey, will speak on Friday evening. The Executive Secretary will speak at the closing mass meeting Sunday afternoon.
