Abstract
The possibility to describe composite and unstable objects in the frame of quantum field theory is discussed. The basis for the discussion is provided by the equation for the «distinguished component» of the state vector,i.e. the component in a closed subspace of the given Hilbert space. The case when the subspace is ann-particle subspace is discussed in more detail. In particular the interaction between bound states is derived from the interaction of their constituents.
