Abstract
Inhibitor of apoptosis protein(IAP) is a kind of anti-apoptosis regulation molecule, Livin is a new member of the inhibitor of apoptosis protein family, It could bind the endogenous lAP antagonist SMAC and caspase -3, caspase -7 ,and caspase -9 to inhibit apopto-sis. Recently, Researches have demonstrated that Livin is highly expressed in the cervical cancer cells and tissue. And identifying occurrence mechanism of cervical cancer and its evaluation benefits from detection of cancer cells apoptosis, so research of its structure, function and mechanism will have important significance for the happen, development, diagnosis and therapy of cervical cancer.
