Abstract
According to the present situation and problem of freshman in bioscience, agronomy, food science and engineering, animal science, fisheries science and other non-chemical specialty, which was poor ability, practical foundation was weak, and studying chemistry was not enthusiastic. Based on the establishment of a new experimental teaching system, four reform measures were proposed as following: selecting appropriate materials, optimizing and restructuring experiment content; focusing on training of basic experimental skill; developing good experiment habits and cultivate scientific way of thinking; establishing a comprehensive, flexible and scientific evaluation system of basic chemistry experiment. The practice showed that it plays a positive role in promoting students’ practical abilities, scientific thinking and innovative ability to carry out basic chemistry experiment teaching reform, at the same time teaching quality of practical courses was improved.
