Abstract
This article discusses the issues of legal regulation of reduced working hours under the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Based on the analysis of the norms of the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a number of other normative legal acts, the distinctive features of such a type of working time as shortened working hours are revealed, the conditions and procedure for establishing some of its types are shown.
