Abstract

Through two pezizalean collections made in Portugal and one in Corsica, the “Peziza succosa” complex is investi- gated here using molecular data (nrITS and nrLSU) and by reviewing the type specimen of Galactinia hypoleuca Boud. & Torrend. The aim of this paper is to redescribe G. hypoleuca and combine it into Paragalactinia based on the joined information from the newly collected specimens and the type specimen. A key to the known European species of Paragalactinia is provided
