Abstract

The book ‘100 years Edgar Morin: Planetary Humanist’ [‘100 años Edgar Morin. Humanista Planetario’] was published in the centenary of the author as aknowledgement of his contributions to a planetary thinking. The aim of this review is to comment the relevant aspects of the twenty chapters that it is made of, having all the connection elements among them as a foothold and that bring a common sense to the work. As a result, it was observed that Morin’s planetary perspective and the relevance that he has attributed to the context are the connection elements of the twenty chapters, highlighting that the whole is a textual hologram that gives the reader multiple possibilities of reflections about the current reality and the uncertainties in relation to the future of humanity, bonding the challenges in education to emergent and necessary metamorphoses.
