Abstract

102, 102 m Rh sources have been produced by the following reactions: 103Rh( n, 2 n), 103Rh(γ, n), 104Pd( f, α) and Ru( d, xn). The energies and relative intensities of the γ-rays associated with the decay of the 206d and 2·9yr 102Rh activities were measured with an 18 cm 3 Ge(Li) detector, and the net γ-ray spectra of 102Rh ( t 1 2 = 206 d ) and 102 m Rh are shown. The yields of 102Rh and 102 m Rh for the different rhodium sources were computed from the γ-ray spectra observed with a Ge(Li) detector of known efficiency. The low-energy region of the γ-ray spectrum of 102, 102 m Rh was investigated with a Si(Li) detector.
