Abstract

The article presents the data about the medical and social significance of the problem neurocirculatory dystonia (NCD). The relevance of the problem stated in the article comes from the significant increase in the prevalence of the functional cardiovascular disorders having been documented during the past years. The NCD has the most frequently affects the young people of the working age suffering from the systemic neurogenic imbalance in the organism. The disease has a negative effect on the quality of life. This disorder is usually diagnosed in young and mature patients, who do not have any organic pathology and present various somatic complaints such as dizziness, headache, sleep disturbances, palpitations, shortbreathing, etc. The modern possibilities of therapy in patients with NСD have been presented and analyzed.
