Abstract
Article history: Received 7 October 2015 Accepted 17 October 2015 Available online 17 October 2015 levosimendan and dobutamine only temporarily reduced his symptoms. Since his symptoms were unresponsive to medical treatment, he was considered as a potential candidate for LVAD implantation or heart transplantation. On cardiac catheterization, his PAP was 70/ 40 mmHg (mean 50 mmHg), right atrial (RA) pressure was 15 mmHg, and his PVR and right ventricular stroke work index (RVSWI) were calculated as 6Wood Units and 332 mmHg·ml/m, respectively (Table 1).
