Abstract
This document discusses radicalism in religion, especially Islam. The content includes the definition of radicalism, the causes of radicalism, the consequences of radicalism, and the efforts that can be made to prevent radicalism. Radicalism in religion is not only limited to acts of physical violence, but also includes ideologies and movements that aim to make massive changes. Some of the factors that cause radicalism include economic limitations, low levels of education, and ideologies that deviate from religious teachings. The impact of radicalism includes the politicization of religion and conflicts between groups. Efforts to prevent radicalism can be carried out through the implementation of multicultural education and appreciation of Pancasila values.
